Are You Ready?

We are READY!

We just submitted our testimony this evening for North Dakota Senate Concurrent Resolution SCR 4014.  The resolution states:

A concurrent resolution urging the Secretary of the Interior and the Director of the National Park Service to modify its proposed livestock management plan, to recognize the benefits of livestock grazing, and to continue to allow for interpretative, cultural, and historical purposes a herd of longhorn steers in the North Unit of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the presence of a wild horse herd in the South Unit of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

The problems they were having yesterday seem to be worked out and we are ready to testify tomorrow!

If you have not submitted your testimony yet, please do so!  You have until 8 am CST Friday (3/10/23) to submit your testimony!  You can submit your testimony here:

We added some talking points for your testimony in our blog post earlier this week:

You can watch the testimony live tomorrow at this link:

They will also offer a recorded version on the website.

Thank you to everyone who has sent in your comments!  We are so close to having this fully pass and be presented to the parties listed above!

Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is committed to advocating for a wild horse management plan and protection for these unique wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home!  We are fighting for a management plan that is guided by science especially when it comes to decisions regarding the removal of horses and the administration of birth control.  Many other wild horse management plans have proven to be successful with their science-based plans.  We are asking for the same for this amazing group of wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.
