Someone said to me yesterday, “Aren’t you glad they saved the TRNP horses?” She was shocked when I told her we didn’t save them – YET!
On one of the posts to send a postcard to Congressman Armstrong to try to get his support, someone said, “What can I say that will change his mind?”
These are just two conversations that show just how much work ALL of us have to do if we are going to save the wild horses in Theodore Roosevelt National Park!
The truth is there is nothing that I alone, or you alone can probably say that will change Congressman Armstrong’s mind. BUT…
When HUNDREDS of people are saying the same thing TOGETHER – that one lonely voice or that one single postcard turns into a LOUD voice that is harder to ignore!
WE NEED TO GET LOUD!!!!

We have another postcard option for you! If you stop in The Buffalo Gap Gift Shop at 275 Pacific Ave in Medora or Chasing Horses shop at 312 Pacific Ave in Medora has postcards already addressed to Congressman Armstrong ready for you to add your personal message to! Hand the card back to a store employee and we will put a stamp on it and mail it for you! THANK YOU to both stores for carrying our brochures and helping to educate the public about the current plight of the wild horses in Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

TODAY we have a NEW Call to Action for you for Congressman Armstrong.
I have a meeting with Congressman Armstrong’s office on June 1st. We are trying to show overwhelming support by EVERYONE (not just me!) so that we can FINALLY get his support!
Throughout this holiday weekend, we are asking that you send a simple email to his office, your message can be short and sweet: “Please support the TRNP wild horses.” Of course, you can personalize that any way you wish, just please be respectful. Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is committed to advocating for a wild horse management plan and protection for these unique wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home! We are fighting for a management plan that is guided by science especially when it comes to decisions regarding the removal of horses and the administration of birth control. Many other wild horse management plans have proven to be successful with their science-based plans.
