Can YOU Be Their Voice?

Hello and Happy Tuesday to everyone!  Happy 4th of July to everyone celebrating!

As we are celebrating our own personal freedom, wild horses everywhere are currently under attack and in danger of losing their freedom.  They need each and every one of us to be their voice!

We have some ways that you can help be the voice for wild horses:

The wild horses in Theodore Roosevelt National Park are being experimented on with GonaCon.  According to Dr. Dan Baker, the lead researcher for the Colorado State University 2009-2020 experiment on our horses, TRNP’s current practice of darting every female horse 8 months old and up with GonaCon is not something that is supported by the research he and his team did. We are asking that you sign the petition DEMANDING that Theodore Roosevelt National Park IMMEDIATELY STOP using GonaCon on its mares until more research is done. You can sign the petition here: https://secure.everyaction.com/a7liQcZTW0qw6DJ0YoF-2w2

The petition will be delivered to the National Park Service Regional Director, Herbert Frost, during our rally. Do you have tickets to the rally?  You can grab yours here: https://secure.everyaction.com/PxHqB9hccEGGUpiO1TTxmQ2

Our friends at Save Our Wild Horses have drafted an email for all of us to sign to send to our federal delegates asking for help for the McCullough Peaks wild horses.  You can sign that petition here: https://secure.everyaction.com/UAyvw9_gdkq86hwKT6ojMg2

THANK YOU to everyone who has signed our petition and/or sent an email to your federal delegates!  We appreciate your support!

Please share our blogs and social media posts.  Those are GREAT ways to help support our advocacy work!

Thank you for your support and have a safe holiday!

Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is committed to advocating for a wild horse management plan and protection for these unique wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home!  We are fighting for a management plan that is guided by science especially when it comes to decisions regarding the removal of horses and the administration of birth control.  Many other wild horse management plans have proven to be successful with their science-based plans.  We are asking for the same for this amazing group of wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.
