This is sooo important…

One of our followers who drove over 900 miles from Utah to North Dakota for the rally said she was here because “This is so important.”

We heard similar sentiments all week from speakers who traveled to be here and other followers who came from across the state of North Dakota and also from all across the US.

THIS – this rally for the Theodore Roosevelt National Park horses – was so important.

It has been a wonderful week and there is so much to process!

From spending the day with fellow advocates from other organizations where I got to show off our amazing TRNP horses, a meeting with NPS Regional Director Herbert Frost and Superintendent Angie Richman, sharing the amazing documentary Wild Beauty: Mustang Spirit of the West with the community along with an amazing Q&A with Ashely Avis and some of the cast and then a full day of hearing from speakers from different backgrounds all speaking in one unified voice: KEEP THE WILD HORSES IN THEODORE ROOSEVELT NATIONAL PARK!

There is a lot to process for sure!

I AM going to do my best to take a day off tomorrow!  We will have more to share about the rally, our meeting and this week in general in the next few days.

For those of you who asked, we will have a video available on our YouTube channel soon. We will let you know as soon as it is uploaded.

I did want to take a moment to just say THANK YOU!

THANK YOU to all of the amazing speakers who came out to support us!

THANK YOU to all of our followers who came out to participate in the rally!

THANK YOU to our sponsors: The Medora Foundation, Pepsi, Baker Boy & Coke for the donation of refreshments!

THANK YOU to our program book advertisers!

THANK YOU to the Medora Community Center for making this rally sooooo easy for us!

THANK YOU  to all of you who support our advocacy work!

THANK YOU to each and every one of you who love this amazing herd of horses and for every little thing you do to help Fight for the Spirit of the Badlands!

Have a great night!

Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is committed to advocating for a wild horse management plan and protection for these unique wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home!  We are fighting for a management plan that is guided by science especially when it comes to decisions regarding the removal of horses and the administration of birth control.  Many other wild horse management plans have proven to be successful with their science-based plans.  We are asking for the same for this amazing group of wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.

  1. Thanks to all of you who are helping the wild horses. I retire tomorrow and hope to get more involved.

  2. Thank you Chris and Gary and your Mom for hosting this tremendously important Rally! I am stopped at a rest area just west of Mandan on my way home to Detroit Lakes, MN. About 250 miles to go. I have some thoughts to share but I will give you a day to rest and it will let me get my thoughts together. Thanks again!
