Just a reminder that the Theodore Roosevelt National Park civic engagement meeting that was scheduled for this Tuesday has been cancelled. We brought to the attention of the Park that they scheduled their meeting at the same time that the Medora City Council was holding their monthly meeting.
Lastly, as the government shutdown is looming, we are happy to report that the state of North Dakota has offered to fund Theodore Roosevelt National Park during this shutdown AND the Park has accepted their offer. https://www.kxnet.com/news/state-news/state-will-help-keep-trnp-fully-open-if-shutdown-happens/ Hopefully this is a sign of things to come, and the Park will continue to allow the state to help them keep the horses.
