Hello and Happy Sunday!

TODAY is the day!

We are officially kicking off our FINAL online merchandise auction of 2026!

We have SO MANY wonderful items that have been generously donated to help support our advocacy work! There truly is something for everyone! THANK YOU to everyone who has donated!

And with the holidays right around the corner, this is a GREAT opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping — or maybe even finish it!

Our auction runs November 1–15, so you have TWO WEEKS to browse, bid, and help support our wild horses!

And there is another VERY important reason to support this auction!

Proceeds from this auction will help fund our ongoing advocacy work AND help us secure the matching funds we need for Giving Hearts Day 2027!

Giving Hearts Day is an important fundraising opportunity for our organization, and securing matching funds helps us make the most of the generosity of our supporters.

That means your bids today can help us make an even BIGGER impact in 2027!

You can view all the wonderful items in our auction AND place your bids here:

https://chwha.betterworld.org/auctions/chwha-november-auction

And guess what? We are STILL accepting donations for this auction!

If you have an item you would like to donate, you can upload it directly through our auction website here:

https://chwha.betterworld.org/donate-an-item

Or simply email us at info@chwha.org, and we will be happy to help get your item(s) added!

Every donation, every bid, and every person who shares our auction helps make a difference!

Looking for Another Way to Support Our Wild Horses?

While we are talking about holiday shopping, we want to remind everyone about our 2027 “Best Friends” Wild Horse Calendar!

This beautiful 13-month calendar celebrates some of the special friendships and relationships within the wild horse herd of Theodore Roosevelt National Park!

Each month features photographs of the REAL wild horses that call the park home, along with some of the wonderful bonds they share.

If you have spent any time watching these horses, you know that the relationships between them are truly something special!

And what makes this calendar even MORE special?

Proceeds from our 2027 “Best Friends” Calendar support the advocacy work of Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates!

These calendars make wonderful holiday gifts for the wild horse lovers in your life — or a special gift for yourself!

We will be shipping these out at the end of November! You can pre-order yours here: https://chasinghorses.com/products/chwha-2027-13-month-calendar

What better way to enjoy these amazing horses all year long?!

Our Advocacy Work Continues!

While we are excited about our auction and calendars, please know that our advocacy work has NOT slowed down!

We are continuing our efforts to strengthen S.1377, the Theodore Roosevelt National Park Wild Horse Protection Act, through the amendments we have proposed.

As we have said before, our goal is not simply to get legislation passed. Our goal is to make sure that the legislation provides meaningful, lasting protection for these historic wild horses.

We fought too hard to keep these horses in the park to settle for legislation that leaves their future vulnerable!

Congress is expected to return to session soon, and we will be watching closely for any movement on this legislation.

As always, we will share updates with you as soon as we have them!

There is still work to be done, and we appreciate everyone who continues to stand with us!

Can You Believe It? Our THIRD Annual Virtual Summit!

Aside from all of that, we have been VERY busy planning our 2027 Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates Virtual Educational Summit!

Can you believe this will be our THIRD year doing this already?!

Our 2027 Summit will take place every weekend throughout January 2027, and we are putting together another wonderful lineup of speakers!

We are currently working on finalizing the schedule and hope to share our speaker lineup with you very soon!

And we have something NEW planned for this year that we think you are going to LOVE!

Introducing: Wild Horses Unscripted — The Stories, Surprises, and Personalities We Love!

If you have spent any time watching wild horses, you KNOW that they have personalities all their own!

Some make us laugh. Some make us shake our heads. Some surprise us. And some leave us with memories that stay with us forever.

This year, we are introducing a new series called “Wild Horses Unscripted: The Stories, Surprises, and Personalities We Love!”

We are inviting wild horse photographers from around the world to share some of their favorite photographs, along with the stories behind them!

We thought this would be a wonderful way to add a little fun and laughter to all the learning we will be doing throughout January!

After all, while the issues facing our wild horses are serious, we should never forget the joy these amazing animals bring into our lives!

We can’t wait to share more about this new series with you!

Education Is an Important Part of Advocacy!

As always, our entire Virtual Summit will be FREE and open to everyone!

Why?

Because we believe that education is one of the most powerful tools we have as advocates.

The more we understand about wild horse behavior, genetics, management practices, legislation, and the challenges facing wild horses and burros, the better prepared we are to advocate effectively for them.

Our goal is simple:

We want advocates to enter 2027 informed, empowered, and ready to take meaningful action for the wild horses and burros we all love!

And we believe that everyone who wants to learn should have that opportunity, regardless of their ability to pay.

Did You Miss Our 2026 Virtual Summit?

Or maybe there was a presentation you would LOVE to watch again?

GOOD NEWS!

You can still enjoy presentations from our 2026 Wild Horse Educational Summit!

We have made recordings of our speakers’ presentations available on our website so that advocates can continue learning long after the Summit has ended!

Whether you are new to wild horse advocacy or have been fighting for these amazing animals for years, there is always something new to learn!

You can watch the recorded presentations here:

https://chwha.org/2026-wild-horse-summit/

And remember, education doesn’t stop when the Summit ends!

We hope you will take advantage of these FREE educational resources and share them with others who want to learn more about wild horses and burros!

Your tax-deductible donations help make programs like our FREE Virtual Summit possible, while also supporting our ongoing advocacy work.

If you enjoy our educational programs, our daily updates, and the work we do on behalf of these horses, please consider making a donation.

Every dollar helps us continue this important work!
