Coloring Campaign

We were approached by Linda Flora from Yocum Institute for the Arts in Pennsylvania about a coloring campaign for kids to help raise awareness about the current plight of our wild horses. In light of the current concerns with the Interior Department Appropriations Bill – please see our 6/5/2025 blog for more information – we thought this would be a GREAT time to launch this campaign.

The Yocum Institute for Arts Education’s mission is to connect and enrich the community through arts education, creative performance, and innovative programs. The Yocum Institute for Arts Education is a 501 (c)(3) organization located at 3000 Penn Avenue, West Lawn, Pennsylvania.

How it will work:

Kids of ALL ages are welcome to participate!

You can either download any (or all) of the 11 images below. ALL of these coloring pages were created from actual photos of wild horses! We ask that you color as many of the images as you like and either return them to us at:

You can pick up AND color copies of as many pictures as you like on the porch outside the Chasing Horses shop in Medora. Crayons and a table to color on will be available daily from 10-5. Pictures can be picked up starting the week of 6/9/2025 inside the store located at:

Artists who return their pictures to the Chasing Horses shop will be entered in a weekly drawing for a $10 Chasing Horses gift certificate that can be used in store or online at www.chasinghorses.com If you mail your art back to us and want to be included in the weekly drawing, please make sure you give us your email address so we can contact you if you win and email you your gift certificate.

We will be mailing the original artwork we collect to one of the following offices: You can also return your art to us at our CHWHA address above or you can mail them yourself to the following offices. If you send them yourself, please include a note. We also ask that each artist write their name on the front of their art and under their name please add your home city and state.

We will divide all art entries that we receive and they will be mailed to:
