Hello and Happy Wednesday! I had to do a double take to make sure I had the right day! It has been a LONG week already – and it’s ONLY Wednesday!!

We just heard back from American Wild Horse Conservation and their final numbers for the Action Alert was 6,654! Our Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates Call to Action ended up with 3,228!

How impressive is that?! We were literally just under 10,000 emails that were sent to members of the Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee’s Subcommittee on National Parks!!!

I am so proud of all of you who took a moment to use your voice to speak up for these historic wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home!

WE ARE NOT FINISHED YET!!!!

We have been working non-stop on our next steps! There is so much to do to make sure the BEST piece of legislation for these amazing wild horses is what passes!

The next committee meeting is critical! This is the one where they will add any “mark-ups”! THAT is where our amendments come in! Please stay tuned! We will have a NEW Call to Action coming soon!

EVERY step from now on is critical. If at any ONE step the bill does not pass, then that is it! The bill dies and the legislation does not pass!
