It’s Monday!

We hope everyone had a GREAT weekend!

I am excited to announce that I have the extreme honor of being asked to speak at this year’s Save Our Wild Horses Conference April 22-26, 2023 in Washington, DC!  It is TRULY an honor!  You can view the entire lineup of speakers here: https://saveourwildhorses.net/2023-speaker-bios.html

THANK YOU to Heather & Linda for inviting me to speak!  This will be an awesome opportunity to spread the word about our amazing Theodore Roosevelt National Park wild horses AND talk to some of the Washington DC officials that can help us work toward the necessary changes for this herd!

Are you coming to the event?  We hope to see you there!

We are still working hard to keep the TRNP wild horses IN Theodore Roosevelt National Park – where they ALWAYS have been and where they should ALWAYS be!  There are a few things being worked on and we hope to have some additional information soon!

Right now, we need everyone to comment to our North Dakota legislators.  We added information in yesterday’s blog on how to submit your comments: https://chwha.org/2023/02/04/scr-4014-2/

We also need your help!

February 9th is also participating Giving Hearts Day in North Dakota!  Giving Hearts Day falls on the second Thursday in February every year!  This year the biggest 24-hour online fundraiser is on Thursday, February 9, 2023!.

EVERY $10 COUNTS!  You can schedule your donation any time between now and February 7th for Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates by clicking on this link: https://app.givingheartsday.org/#/charity/1669.  After February 7th, you will have to remember to come back on February 9th to make your donation.

Funds raised on Giving Hearts Day will go to help us continue to advocate for the wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home. The park recently announced their plans to eliminate the ENTIRE herd – Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is working hard to make sure that doesn’t happen!

Thank you for your support and have a GREAT day!

Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is committed to advocating for a wild horse management plan and protection for these unique wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home!  We are fighting for a management plan that is guided by science especially when it comes to decisions regarding the removal of horses and the administration of birth control.  Many other wild horse management plans have proven to be successful with their science-based plans.  We are asking for the same for this amazing group of wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.
