On the National Stage…

Hello and Happy Friday to everyone!

We hope you had a GREAT week!

Thank you to everyone who commented on our last post that gave some highlights from the 2023 Year in Review.  We truly have accomplished A LOT this year, haven’t we?!

We wanted to share the highlight from the past year with you because as we said, every little step we took together in our fight to save the wild horses in Theodore Roosevelt National Park led to the next.  Sometimes it seemed like nothing was happening, but as you can see, SOMETHING was always happening.

The articles that Patrick Springer has written for the Fargo Forum, along with the Associated Press articles that have been released AND ALL OF YOU sharing posts and helping to spread the word has gone farther than any of us could have imagined on shining much needed attention on the current plight of our beloved TRNP wild horse herd!

For those of you who have been sharing our posts, tagging national media, hoping, praying and sending positive energy that somehow, someway, the national media would catch a glimpse of our calls for help, GREAT JOB!!!!  THAT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED!!!!

I have spoken about Joe, the reporter who came out a few weeks ago.  Joe is from THE WALL STREET JOURNAL!

I spoke with Joe a few times this week.  Then he called me a few times today just to triple check a few things. He said all of the pictures he received from us and others look GREAT, and the article is ready to go!

The article is scheduled to be released ONLINE THIS SUNDAY 12/17/2023!

Please note: The Sunday release is subject to change.  The article originally was supposed to be out yesterday, but it got pushed to next week instead. At this time, the plan is for the article to appear online on SUNDAY (12/17/2023) and then in print on Monday (12/18/2023) – more on all of that next week!  YES! We will share links as soon as we get them!

We are so excited to read this article!  Joe spoke with a good variety of people from fans and followers to historians, scientists, local business owners in Medora, ND House Majority Leader Mike Lefor, Superintendent Richman and more!  Then he also experienced the beauty of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park wild horses personally when we took him out to see the herd on his last day in Medora.  We are looking forward to a very well rounded article!

We also know that fan favorites Flax and Boomer specifically will be talked about within the pages of the WALL STREET JOURNAL next week!

How exciting is this?!

As a friend of mine says, “I love it when a plan comes together!”

THANK YOU to all of you who have worked so hard with us this year to help this plan come together the way that it has!  We have no doubt that this story in the WALL STREET JOURNAL will help raise awareness about the plans that Theodore Roosevelt National Park has to eliminate the ENTIRE herd of wild horses from the boundaries of the Park!

We have a LONG way to go in this fight – these horses need ALL of the help they can get!

Pat yourselves on the back!  It was a long road to get here!  THIS is quite the achievement!

Please continue to share our posts!  Every little thing matters and has the ability to make a difference!

Thank you again for your continued support!
