Hello again!

As promised, we have a NEW video and story for you.

Today – we are talking about 2010 Stallion Ollie Jr. 

Stories tell us that Ollie Jr was born in 2010 to Mare Escape and Stallion Oliver. Stallion Oliver was captured in 2009. Sadly, he went to slaughter.  Ollie Jr was born the following year. 

Ollie Jr has been fun to watch mature into the band stallion he is today.  Being a band stallion did not come easy for him.  He had some lessons to learn on how to hold onto a band. 

When we first met Ollie Jr, he was bachelor buddies with Stallion Arrowhead. 

Ollie Jr has held this band since 2018.  He has managed to add to the band over the years, but he has also lost a couple of mares.   

Mare Dolly ended up leaving soon after Ollie Jr. took over the late Stallion Cocoa’s band.  She was with Flax for years and now is with Stallion Cagney.  Mare Stormy passed away and he has slowly been adding some of the younger fillies, and the seasoned Mare Freckles that he took from Stallion Guardian. His band currently has 12 members including Ollie Jr.

Ollie Jr has a few offspring still in the park: Bachelor Stallion Applewood, Mare Jewel (currently in Stallion Arrowhead’s band), Mare Pixie (currently in Stallion Wild Rye’s band), Colt Sterling, Colt Noble and Colt Auggie. 

Ollie Jr is arguably the most handsome red roan stallion in the TRNP herd.  What do you think?

Ollie Jr also has been trying to kick out 2021 Colt Sterling for the better part of this year.  As you can see in the video of the band on our YouTube channel, he appears to STILL be trying!
