Hello and Happy Monday!
Did you get all of your postcards mailed out last week? We are hoping by now that everyone has received their postcards. If you didn’t, please send me an email at info@chwha.org. If you haven’t quite finished last week’s post cards – no worries! Please make sure you work on last week and then move on to this week’s contacts.
We did add an FAQ blog for the postcard mailing.
We are targeting members of the House & Senate Appropriations Committees. Over a three week period, we will be mailing out 92 postcards to those specific members of Congress. If you missed week #1’s list, you can find it here: https://chwha.org/2024/08/13/postcard-cta-direction-week-1/
We are using the same messages for all 3 weeks. We are hoping you will alternate your messages. If you have room to write both messages, feel free to do so. Each member of Congress should only get 1 postcard from you.
As a reminder – here are the messages that should be added to the postcards:
Message #1
No Bureau of Land Management funding for permanent sterilization of our wild horses!
Message #2
Stop funding wild horse round ups until the Bureau of Land Management is transparent with their plans for our wild horses including the 60,000+ in federal holding.
Week #2’s mailing list is below. If you did not sign up for this campaign in time, you can still send letters or your own postcards to help maximize the impact.
Thank you again for your support and for participating in this Call to Action. We appreciate your support!
Chris & Heather
