Helllloooooo again!!!

Earlier this morning – less than 12 hours ago for sure, I posted a new blog with a NEW Call to Action suggested by our legislators to help get SCR 4006 passed.  We asked everyone to send an email to the committee members for SCR 4006 asking them to pass the legislation.

This afternoon, I received a text message from one of our legislators that said:

“Mission Accomplished! The committee has received over 200 emails.  Some of the members have asked for the emails to stop as they will be supporting the resolution.”

HAPPY TEARS ARE STREAMING DOWN MY FACE!!!!

This does NOT mean that you should NOT testify – you absolutely still should be on record that you want this passed. 

For clarification – this also does NOT grant federal protection.  We have a VERY LONG road ahead of us for that!  BUT it is a step in the right direction!

I have deactivated the Call to Action, but it will not fully deactivate until tomorrow.

Come back TOMORROW so we can do it again for SB 2331!  REMEMBER: This one is a harder sell – the resolution is just a request from the state. SB 2331 is asking for a NEW law to be put on North Dakota’s books.  We  need EVERYONE to show up tomorrow for this! 

I also have experts ready to testify Friday and my own information I am putting together.  I have been talking to the press, emailing businesses in Medora and will continue doing all I can to get BOTH of these pieces of legislation passed.
