Hello and Happy Thursday!

We are packing up and heading to Bismarck today to give in person testimony for SCR 4006.  This is the resolution that asks our federal legislators to help secure federal protection for the wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.

The Dickinson Press wrote an article we LOVE called “Chasing Action” – how perfect?! And do to some technical issues our full page Op-Ed should appear in the Bismarck Tribune TODAY.

We have more work to do today after we testify for SCR 4006.  We will share more on that later!

This is your chance to perform your civic duty and speak up for the wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park! 

Testimony for SCR 4006 MUST be submitted by 1:30 pm (Central time) TODAY – 2/6/2025.

Testimony for SB 2331 MUST be submitted by 8 am (Central time) TOMORROW – 2/7/2025.

Did you know that you can watch the testimony LIVE on the North Dakota legislature website?  You can also come back and watch the recorded video! 

On the home page of the legislative website: https://ndlegis.gov/, in the bottom right corner you will see a “Live Video” link.  Click that and then look for the room that testimony is being heard in.  SCR 4006 is being heard in the Peace Garden Room in front of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee.  SB 2331 is being heard in Room 216 in front of the State and Local Government Committee.

Today, we will (hopefully) start moving one step closer to federal protection for the historic wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home!
