It’s Time!
SCR 4006 has been scheduled for its committee hearing in the North Dakota House NEXT THURSDAY – March 20, 2025, at 10:45 am (central time) in front of the Agriculture Committee.
This means that you can now submit your testimony! Testimony can be submitted here: https://ndlegis.gov/assembly/69-2025/regular/bill-hearings/bh4006.html?bill_year=2025&bill_number=4006
IF you already submitted testimony during the ND Senate hearing, you DO NOT have to submit testimony again – unless you have something to add or you plan on testifying virtually or in person.

ANYONE – FROM ANYWHERE – CAN SUBMIT TESTIMONY. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN THE STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA!
The other question we get asked a lot is for talking points. We do not want “form letters” being sent so we ask that you simply write from your heart. If you are NOT a scientist or historian – please don’t try to be one now lol
Remember – SCR 4006 is a resolution asking that our federal legislators help get federal protection for this herd. REMEMBER: THIS RESOLUTION DOES NOT GRANT FEDERAL PROTECTION TO THE HERD!! That is a long process Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is working on with our federal legislators. This resolution lets those federal legislators know that the State of North Dakota wants these horses federally protected.
Your testimony can be as simple as saying, “The TRNP wild horses deserve federal protection. Please pass SCR 4006.”
Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates will be testifying in person again. We also know that many subject matter experts have also already submitted testimony.
