Hello and Happy Wednesday to everyone!
It is that crazy-busy time of the year for all of us! We have some updates on our advocacy work that we wanted to share with you!
We promise to get back to the East Side Bachelor’s story in the next day or so. Thank you to everyone who has let us know how much you are enjoying this series! Next up is Stallion Remington and we think you will enjoy his story!
Our NEW Coloring Campaign has excited kids of ALL ages! We have received so many beautiful finished pieces of art that we have already started mailing them out to members of Congress! We will be doing this ALL SUMMER LONG!!! You can get all the info on this campaign – INCLUDING how you can participate – on our website here: https://chwha.org/get-involved/coloring-campaign/
We have heard from followers who are sharing these in nursing homes they work in, Grandparents printing them out for a fun summer activity for their grandkids and kids who bring their finished art back telling us that they are taking blank pages home for their friends so they can participate as well! How AMAZING is that?!
I have said it before, and I will say it again – Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocated has THE BEST followers!!!!
We also received an email today from Karen Budd-Falen’s office, the Associate Deputy Secretary of the Interior that we met with a few weeks ago. The message stated: “She has a briefing with the Secretary next week and will be back in touch with you once she has spoken with him.”
We are excited about our follow-up with Karen! We will share Secretary Burgum’s response as soon as we get it.
We have some other meetings both this week and next week. We will share details with you as soon as we can!
We know it has been quiet here lately, please don’t mistake our silence to mean that nothing is happening! There is PLENTY going on here at Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates. We just can’t talk about all of it at this moment.
We do something to advocate for the TRNP wild horses and/or wild horses on the western range EVERY SINGLE DAY!
We do need your help to continue doing our critical advocacy work. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates by clicking our logo below.
Thank you for your continued support and have a great night!
