This is a much shorter week, but it promises to be busy nonetheless!
First, we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our matching fund last week! We had a Secret Santa who offered to match any donations we received last week, up to $1,000! With your help, we were able to maximize that donation!
Yesterday, another Secret Santa contacted us and has offered to match up to $2,000 through the end of this year! That means that once again every donation you make through 12/31/2025 is AUTOMATICALLY DOUBLED!!!! In all honesty, if a small fraction of people who subscribe to our blog or follow us on social media donated $1 each, we would very easily be able to maximize this donation!

We here at Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates have been working hard for almost TWO YEARS now trying to get the historic wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park the federal protection they deserve.
We are so close BUT there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.
We are working with some of our partners on best next steps while we continue to keep the line of communication open with Senator Hoeven’s office. There will be some Calls to Action coming soon, so be sure to subscribe to our blog and follow us on social media to stay up to date!
We have also started working on the website for the 2026 Virtual Summit! We will have more details, including signup info, coming later this week!
We have 18 confirmed speakers and expect to add more! This year’s summit will be held every weekend through the month of January with 3-4 speakers each Saturday and Sunday. We will also have a few speakers on Fridays.

Please keep in mind, we are still waiting for some updated bios and pictures from some of the speakers as well as a firm topic. The page is currently a work in progress! We are once again keeping this event FREE for everyone. Our goal with this summit is to help educate advocates so that we can put our best voices forward for wild horses and burros everywhere.
