Hello and Happy Tuesday to everyone!

Can you believe this coming weekend is the end of our month long virtual Wild Horse & Burro Virtual Summit?!

We have had 24 different speakers already this month and have 6 more presentations that will take place this weekend 1/31-2/1/2026.

So much valuable information has been shared!  We hope that if you were not able to experience the events in person that you take time to watch the videos we have uploaded to our YouTube channel!

We have had a variety of speakers from wild horse and burro advocates to members of the press, state legislators, wild horse and also wild burro sanctuaries.  We have talked to wild horse photographers and advocates involved in litigation for our wild horses.

We also heard from advocates from across the globe!  Including Australia and Germany!  This weekend, we will hear from advocates from France and how they are working to help the Nokota horses in the US!  Jon Eagle Sr. gave another wonderful and insightful presentation this past weekend.  We have heard from biologists, scientists and ecologists about everything from public land issues, genetics, maintaining healthy ecosystems and fertility control.

The last presentation this weekend will be at 4 pm mountain time on Sunday.  This one is called Closing Thoughts, and it is a time when everyone can turn on their videos and mics and share their thoughts on the summit, ask questions, have a discussion and let us know what you liked best and what we can do to improve next year.

As a reminder, this event is FREE for everyone!

You can view the full schedule and sign up on our website: https://chwha.org/2026-wild-horse-summit/

If you missed any of the 24 other presentations, you can view them on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@ChasingHorsesWildHorseAd-vj8hm

We are thankful to all the presenters and everyone who has participated in this year’s summit.

We also have a BONUS for you!  We have a few presentations that will take place in February for speakers that were not able to attend in January! Stay tuned for updates!
