Hello and Happy Friday!

We are finalizing things for the event we will be participating in at Theodore Roosevelt National Park on July 2-3 at the Peaceful Valley Ranch in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The event has been titled: TRNP’s Badlands and Bridles: Public Lands Horse Use and Management.  There will be representation from The National Park Service, The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and The US Forest Service at this event! 

We have so many wonderful things planned for these two days!

We need your help to make this event a success! 

We are thankful to our sponsors for this event: Forum Communications Company, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Dickinson and Baker Boy!  We do need to raise an additional $3,000 to cover our costs for this event and also to help to continue to share information with the public during what promises to be a VERY BUSY summer in Medora!

The amount we are raising will help cover the cost of the printed materials we will have at the event and also have available to hand out all summer long.  We are already seeing confusion about the legislation – people thinking that it has fully passed and we are done.  As those of you who are working with us on this know very well – WE ARE NOT DONE!  We also need the public’s help to get our legislation amended and passed through the House.  We have printed materials that explain this process and how they can help. 

We will have fun and educational things for kids of all ages that we know they will enjoy!

We are thankful that Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Dickinson has donated water for us to have at our booth and Baker Boy has donated some of their delicious donuts!  Be sure to stop by our booth for some great refreshments!

In the past, many of you have asked us for brochures for the summer so you can share them as you travel.  If you are interested in brochures for this year, please email us at info@chwha.org and let us know how many you would like us to send.  Letting us know now also helps us plan for the order we will be placing in the next day or so!
