Going, Going… Not Quite Gone! Everything You Need to Know About Our November Auction!
Hello and Happy Friday!
The weekend is almost here, and we wanted to remind everyone that our Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates November Online Auction is still going strong!
We have OVER 150 ITEMS waiting for your bids!
And guess what?! Some GREAT NEW items have been donated and added to our auction this week!
So, even if you’ve already checked out the auction, we encourage you to take another look! You never know what new treasures you might find!
Whether you’re shopping for holiday gifts, looking for something special for yourself, or simply want to support our continued advocacy for the wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, we hope you’ll stop by!
Our auction ends Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 8 PM Mountain Time.
Before you start bidding, we wanted to share a few helpful reminders!
What Is Popcorn Bidding?
Have you ever been outbid at the very last second of an online auction?
That’s where popcorn bidding comes in!
Popcorn bidding automatically extends the bidding time on an item by 2 minutes if a new bid is placed within the final 1 minute of bidding.
For example, if an item is scheduled to close at 8:00 PM and someone places a bid at 7:59:30 PM, the bidding time for that item will automatically be extended by 2 minutes.
This gives other interested bidders an opportunity to respond instead of losing an item to a last-second bid.
Remember: If you’re bidding on something you really want, keep an eye on that item as the auction approaches its closing time!
What About Shipping Fees?
We want to make sure everyone understands how shipping works before placing their bids.
Shipping fees are NOT included in your winning bids. There will be separate shipping charges for items that need to be shipped.
After the auction ends, you will receive a separate invoice to cover your shipping fees.
IMPORTANT: Please watch your email AND your spam or junk folder for your shipping invoice after the auction!
We don’t want anyone to miss an important email about their winning items!
Every Bid AND Every Donation Supports Our Advocacy!
This auction is about much more than finding a great deal.
Proceeds from our November Auction support the continued advocacy work of Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates.
And here’s another important reminder!
You can make a donation to our auction at ANY TIME throughout the auction!
You don’t have to bid on or purchase an item to support our work. If you’d simply like to make an item donation, you can do that right through our auction website: https://chwha.betterworld.org/donate-an-item You can also email us at info@chwha.org with the item details and we can also add it for you.
Whether you’re bidding on something special, making a donation, or sharing our auction with friends and family, every bit of support helps us continue fighting for meaningful protections for the historic wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
And with the holidays approaching, this is also a wonderful opportunity to find unique gifts while supporting a cause you care about!
