Monday Gratitude

Hello and Happy Monday!

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our Horse Talk with Scott Beckstead yesterday.  If you missed it, you can view it on our YouTube channel:

One of the things that was noted from our talk with Scott yesterday is that NOW is NOT the time for silent advocacy for ANY of our wild horses!  Scott’s message was to stay persistent and stay the course!  We ALL need to do everything we can to help save our wild horses!  Scott talked about fighting this fight from EVERY ANGLE – something Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates has been doing since the park’s announcement in December!

THANK YOU to everyone who has signed up and shared information about our campaign to send postcards to Congressman Armstrong.  We tripled our numbers yesterday.

Still…can we make more of an impact than 75 postcards?

We are mailing off the postcards Wednesday morning.  If you can share the link and help us get more postcards to Congressman Armstrong, that would be AWESOME!  Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is paying for the postcards, the postage and even mailing the post card for you!  You can sign up for us to send your postcard here: People who are signed up by NOON (MST) on Wednesday (5/24/2023) will be included in this Call to Action.

We are working hard to get federal protection for the wild horses of TRNP.  As our only elected US House representative, Congressman Armstrong is critical for us to get this support for the horses!

THANK YOU to everyone who has been sending their emails to the congressional staffers that we met with and/or left information with while we were in Washington, DC.  We have sent over 200 emails and TOMORROW we will share the LAST of the email addresses with you!  YAY!!!!! You can find the contact info and sample letters on our website: IS making a difference! We ARE getting responses!

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all of you who made a donation yesterday to help us with our billboard!  We raised enough money for our matching donation!  That means the billboard is paid for through September!  We still need help to keep the billboard up!  You can make a donation to support our advocacy work on our website:

Have you heard?

Thank you for your support and have a GREAT day!

Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is committed to advocating for a wild horse management plan and protection for these unique wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home!  We are fighting for a management plan that is guided by science especially when it comes to decisions regarding the removal of horses and the administration of birth control.  Many other wild horse management plans have proven to be successful with their science-based plans.  We are asking for the same for this amazing group of wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.
