I am constantly amazed at the people we have met over these last 10 months (or so) since Theodore Roosevelt National Park announced their plans to eliminate the ENTIRE herd of horses from the boundaries of the Park.  Not only have we been honored to meet these people, we have been humbled by their willingness to do whatever they can to help us as they advocate with us for these amazing wild horses. 

We talked about some friends earlier and we are happy to share with you some help coming from some friends we have made that work at National Geographic!

They have taken some of our videos and photos and put them into the first in a series of videos they will be putting together for us to help raise awareness about the current plight of the wild horses in Theodore Roosevelt National Park.  We are hoping you will help us share these videos as we release them to help raise awareness for our beloved herd of horses in TRNP!  Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates will also be using these videos to create ads on social media to help raise awareness and encourage people to comment.

    The wild horses must stay in TR National Park. Whose dumb idea is this any how?!!!

    I have a very hard time understanding why this is even being considered. These horses are and have been a very important part of park life that we follow regularly in person as well as on line. I know why we are fighting so hard to keep them but can’t understand why there seems to be a disconnect as to their importance to all of us.

    I think the wild horse should be left alone in TRNP. That is their home and should be until they die.
    My husband and I have an America The Beautiful lifetime pass and TRNP is the only national park that has wild horses in it that we can go see. Sure that others that have the passes will agree and if they knew TRNP is planning on removing the horses will be upset. there is plenty of land for the horses to run free and live and survive on. They should not be sterilized that would mean in several years there would be no more horses for our children or grand children to see in the park when they visit. The feral horses are a part of the western culture. They are beautiful and should be left alone for us and others to come to the park and visit. T he ones making the decision to remove the horses should rethink their decision for the good of the horses and the PARK.
