Theodore Roosevelt National Park extends comment period on the Livestock Plan Environmental Assessment 

MEDORA, N.D. – The National Park Service is extending the comment period on the Environmental Assessment on the Theodore Roosevelt National Park Livestock Plan through November 24, 2023.  

Please submit comments online through the Planning, Environment, and Public Comment (PEPC) website at The comment period will be open for an additional 30-days and all comments must be submitted by November 24, 2023. Comments may also be mailed to the following address and be post-marked by November 24, 2023.

  1. Please do not eliminate the horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park -this is not what Theodore would have wanted -they have great historic value and are a large tourist attraction for the state and it is on my bucket list to visit there-Please, Please, Please do Not remove these horses!!!!
