Hello and Happy Thursday to everyone!

It is a GREAT day!

TODAY the wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park are featured in the online edition of The Washington Post!  You can read the article here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/01/04/save-north-dakotas-wild-horses/

Don’t you LOVE the title?

We can save North Dakota’s wild horses

They are still deciding if this will be in the print edition as well.  We will keep you posted on their decision!

I read yesterday that 1 in 4 Americans read The Washington Post!

TODAY 1 in 4 Americans will hopefully take the time to read about the current plight of our wild horses!

PLEASE share this article!  Wild horses all across the US are in dire need of our help.  Every click on articles like these let the mainstream media know that the public is interested in stories about wild horses.

Other ways to maximize this article:

  • Email the Washington Post and thank them for helping to raise awareness about our TRNP wild horses.  You can email them here:  letters@washpost.com
  • Send this link to other media outlets!  THAT is exactly how this happened, I emailed over 200 members of the media and have received a few responses!  The more they hear from us, the more likely they are to feature the horses!

If there are any other ideas that you may have, please PM us or send us an email.

We are very thankful to the Washington Post for this opportunity!  We are also grateful for a new media contact that has asked us to stay in touch!

Have a GREAT day and thank you for your support!

P.S. We can save North Dakota’s wild horses!!

P.P.S – The Headed to the Flats image is one of the images they chose to use with the article to highlight the TRNP horses!

Awesome article, the horses truly are a National Treasure, we need to preserve our history, not destroy it!!!! Once it’s gone, you can’t get it back.
