Hello and Happy Wednesday to everyone!
Thank you to everyone who took time to send an email or a PM about our last blog. The question of if we continue fighting was a rhetorical one, but one we hoped everyone would look closely at the long-term commitment required from everyone as we move forward in our fight for the wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
Yesterday, I drafted a grant funding letter and have a few people who know more than I do about this looking at it to see if there is anything to add or change. Once I get the ok, we will start sending those letters out anywhere and everywhere.
The grant process can be a long one in some cases. There are organizations/foundations that have grant periods open for several months, then they take time to review the applications and then later they award the grants.
As great as these grants are, we need to keep moving forward now. We are grateful to everyone who was able to make a donation the other day. We appreciate your support. There are a number of things we are working on. In all honesty, I feel like my life actually got busier since the park announced that the horses will be staying! There is a lot happening and we will have more to share with everyone soon!

We have received a bunch of emails and yes, the postcards are still coming! We used a completely new company to order 90,000 postcards from. We are waiting for confirmation that they have shipped and for tracking info. We will let you know when they get here!
