Hurry Up & Wait!

Hello and Happy Tuesday to everyone!

There is a lot happening at Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates and A LOT of “hurry up and wait” also happening!  Hurry up and wait is my least favorite thing to do!

While we are in this waiting time, there are things that you can be doing to help the wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

  1. We are getting ready to submit our petition (again) to our elected officials.  Please make sure we have your name on this petition asking that the collars be removed from the 15 mares they were placed on during the October 2024 helicopter roundup.  The park has stated they have no plans on removing these collars for AT LEAST 2-3 YEARS!  If you already signed the petition, please ask your friends or family members to sign.  You can sign here: https://secure.everyaction.com/x-5WrjPo20Cb4LGbj5PD-A2
  2. Take a moment to also send an email asking that the collars be removed.  You can send this email as many times as you like!  You can send the email here: https://secure.everyaction.com/mFnS9JcvoEypRJBKdpxK_w2
  3. Please take a moment to send an email asking that the park STOP their aggressive use of GonaCon on this herd.  You can also send this email as often as you like: https://secure.everyaction.com/7exTfk62vU6c0On_NDNIfA2

These three things help more than you know as we move forward with our advocacy for the wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.

We are in the planning stage of many different things!  We will share details as they are firmed up!

Thank you for your support and have a great day!
