Hello and Happy Friday!

We have a short and sweet blog today with a couple of reminders!

First, as we celebrated Wild Horse Protection Day/Wild Horse Annie’s Birthday and other calendar days – we gave a list of active Calls to Action you can do to help support wild horses and burros everywhere.  You can find the list in our blog from this week: https://chwha.org/2025/03/05/happy-birthday-annie/

Second, please make sure you are working on getting your testimony ready for SCR 4006!  WE ARE NOT DONE YET!!!

SCR 4006 passed the ND Senate UNANIMOUSLY last month.  Next step is to have a hearing in the ND House.  We believe the ND House committee hearing will be the week of 3/17.   If you write up your testimony, all you will have to do is upload it when the time comes! We will let you know as soon as we have a date set. 

If you have already submitted testimony for the ND Senate, you do not need to resubmit any testimony unless you have points you want to add. 

Also, please let us know if you are planning to testify in person or virtually.  We are working to streamline the testimony for our legislators.

Lastly, our FIRST online silent auction for 2025 starts this MONDAY March 10, 2025 at 6 am Mountain time.  The auction will run through March 17, 2025! 

This is a GREAT way to get some amazing deals on some incredible items that have been donated to us!
