Hello and Happy Monday to everyone!
Today we are continuing our East Side Bachelor’s series with the handsome stallion pictured in this blog.
2014 Stallion Remington was born to Mare Little Brother’s Girl. The late Stallion Blaze has been his presumed sire BUT as he has grown, and really looks more like the late Stallion Cocoa, his sire has been called into question.
Before he became a band stallion, Remington had some interesting moments!
As we mentioned in our post about Stallion Gunner, Remington, and Gunner, along with their moms, Little Brother’s Girl and Papoose had a heck of a time with their new band stallion Ollie Jr., after Blaze passed away.
Ollie Jr. tried hard to get rid of the boys, but their momma’s were not having it!

In the summer of 2019, shortly after one of the park’s round ups, Remington was hanging out around the capture pens. He could see the fillies that were captured and no doubt thought he hit the jackpot and was on his way to FINALLY becoming a band stallion!
He just needed to find a way to get past that fence and get those girls!

Needless to say, he was unsuccessful but let’s give this handsome guy some bonus points for trying!
He became a band stallion in 2020 when he took Mare Democracy and her son Bart from Stallion Copper. This happened around the time that Mystery passed away and Copper initially had control of his band and Mystery’s. Democracy has been with him ever since and together they have had 5 babies, 4 of which are still alive and well and living in TRNP.

Remington added to his band in 2021 when he took Mare Ember’s Girl and her daughter Emery along with Eagle and her filly Birdie from Stallion Red Face. He also managed to take Mare Opal from Stallion Arrowhead that same year. In 2023, he added Mare Lakota to the band and most recently, he added Mare Bella from Stallion Chance’s band.
He has a good sized band with some BEAUTIFUL babies that he and Democracy have had over the years.
We hope you enjoy this look at Stallion Remington. Last, but not least, is Stallion Maverick. He has quite the story! Be sure to check back soon for more on the East Side Bachelors!
