Thank you to everyone for the positive feedback on our Federal Legislation blog series last week. If you missed them, you can find them on the homepage of our website at www.chwha.org
Many of you have asked and yes, we will have a condensed version of the amendments we would like to see. The blog series was meant to help educate and empower you to understand what we are asking for and why so that you can speak to these amendments with your own legislators when the time comes. We will need EVERYONE to speak up when the time comes.
We will continue to speak with Senator Hoeven’s office and other members of Congress about getting these amendments added to the legislation. We will continue to update you with any new information we have.
As we mentioned, the government shutdown will continue to impact all aspects of our lives, including this legislation.
