This is the week that we all officially go back to reality! The holidays are over and it’s time to get back to the grindstone!
We have meetings with some of our partners to discuss strategies as we continue to work on getting our amendments added to The Theodore Roosevelt National Park Wild Horse Protection Act. We will jump in with any updates on this legislation or any new Calls to Action.
Many of you have asked about the outcome of our 2nd Secret Santa matching donation. We were only able to double about ¼ of what was offered. The generous donor thought maybe the crazy 2 weeks of holidays at the end of the month may have played a part in us not being able to maximize this donation. They have offered to extend our time to match their donation to THIS FRIDAY 1/9/2026! This gives us just a few days to raise $1500 to maximize this generous donation!

As a very small nonprofit organization, we count on you to help us be able to continue our critical advocacy work for the iconic wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home. Your donation helps cover a variety of things that have helped contribute to our success. These include monthly fees for our software that allow our one click Calls to Action, things like PO Box fees, brochures to help educate the public, our yearly virtual summit, pins and other giveaways that are handed out to kids of all ages to help raise awareness, packets that we send to Congress, Zoom subscriptions, local Chamber of Commerce and other memberships, and so much more! We kicked off our 2026 Virtual Summit this weekend! We are thankful for all of the wonderful people presenting at this year’s summit! This is really a great chance for you to get a well-rounded education on topics that concern us as wild horse and burro advocates.

Our Summit continues this FRIDAY at 10 Mountain time! We have a full weekend of speakers Saturday & Sunday too!
