
By now we are sure you have heard all about our virtual summit: Putting the “A” in Advocacy – Arming Yourself with Knowledge to Effectively Advocate in 2025 Virtual Summit that will take place January 30th – February 3, 2025!
One of the best parts about this event?
IT IS FREE!!!!
We now have 34 different speakers that will be giving 31 different presentations! We had to add speakers to January 30th schedule to accommodate everyone! We are also still waiting to hear from some of our members of Congress. Their time may be a pre-recorded video, but no matter what, we will keep you updated on any additions to the speaking list!
We have added the sign-up links for the individual presentations to our website! We have one speaker, Jetara Sehart, that just committed to the summit last Friday. We will have her link set up in the next day or so! You are welcome to sign up for as many of the speakers as you would like!

We are very excited about this event!
Many of you have said you wished this was in person. That would be great! But truthfully, our goal is to reach as many people as possible and honestly, many people cannot afford to travel to these events or have health restrictions that would exclude them from an in-person event. We would also not be able to do this for FREE – as costs for event space, promotion, etc. would have to be factored in. NOT TO MENTION – working on a date that worked for ALL 34 DIFFERENT speakers’ schedules – including travel!
This is our first crack at this, and we look forward to hearing your feedback after the summit! In fact, we will have a quick 2-minute survey for you to take to help us measure the success of this event. As with anything, hopefully this will continue to grow and evolve into something even better next year!
If you are one of those people who are concerned about being able to keep your attention span together for 5 days’ worth of presentations – NO WORRIES! We do plan on posting the videos of each of the presentations on our YouTube channels! That will allow you to take in the summit at your own pace or even revisit some presentations if you want! Please note that we are at the mercy of the technology gods on this one!
Each presenter will allow at least 30 minutes for questions after their presentation. Either Heather, Jen or I will be moderating each presentation and Q&A session. We do ask that everyone be respectful of each speaker, even if you may not agree with their particular form of advocacy! We appreciate every single one of our speakers and appreciate the time they are giving to this summit!
Over the next few weeks leading up to the summit, we will be sharing social media posts highlighting each of our individual speakers!
We do understand that in our Zoom/Teams/ virtual society, that human interaction portion gets missed sometimes!
