Hello and Happy Wednesday!
The government shutdown looks like it is coming to a close. We have reached out to Senator Hoeven’s office to see if they still think it is possible for there to be a vote on the Theodore Roosevelt National Park Wild Horse Protection Act in 2025. We have also been speaking with other members of Congress about this legislation both to discuss amendments we would like to see and also to garner support for this legislation. We will let you know Senator Hoeven’s plans once we hear back from his office.

We are planning our 2026 Wild Horse & Burro Virtual Summit! The 2025 Summit was a HUGE success! Based on your feedback, our 2026 Virtual Summit will be held throughout the entire month of January!
