Hello and Happy Thursday to you!
TODAY the North Dakota House accepted SCR 4014 as amended. It is on the file for a vote tomorrow, HOWEVER, when we spoke with ND House Minority Leader Josh Boschee today, he said that given their load for tomorrow, SCR 4014 probably will NOT be voted on until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
We are getting closer!
We will keep you posted on the progress of the resolution!
REMEMBER: This resolution DOES NOT save the wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We still have A LOT of work to do to save them! Please check out our current “Calls to Action” on our website on ways you can help! https://chwha.org/calls-to-action/
We also wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU for the overwhelming excitement for our event on March 26th with Dr. Castle McLaughlin! Have you registered for the event yet? You can find information under the events tab on our website: https://chwha.org/events/. This event is FREE, but you do have to pre-register to attend. There is a “waiting room” set up and only people who pre-register will be allowed into the conference.
We are working on additional events and other ways to help bring awareness to these amazing wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home. If you have ideas you would like to share with us, please email us at info@chwha.org.
Thank you for your support!
Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates is committed to advocating for a wild horse management plan and protection for these unique wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home! We are fighting for a management plan that is guided by science especially when it comes to decisions regarding the removal of horses and the administration of birth control. Many other wild horse management plans have proven to be successful with their science-based plans. We are asking for the same for this amazing group of wild horses that call Theodore Roosevelt National Park home.
